There are certain things which can help a house feel like a home. A reflection of the people who live there, a collection which accumulates over time. Art.

Art is often a personal choice but a hugely appreciated gift too. A gift to say “this reminded me of you” or “I know you’ll love it”.

It's a gift with longevity, a connection which lasts a lifetime. The recipient will always think of the person who gave them that piece, bringing a smile to their everyday.

I’ve rounded up a few choices for inspiration but when choosing art for someone else, ask yourself a couple of questions;

  • How is their home decorated? How would you define their style?

  • What do they love? What are their interests/beliefs?

  • Space - where can they put the piece you are buying? Small pieces are just as special and can be beautifully mounted too!

Remember, V day is just around the corner to surprise someone you lurrrrrve....💕

(I got lost down a beautiful but £££ hole looking at these...i've tried to keep my picks reasonable!)

The art that matters to us – moves the heart, or revives the soul, or delights the senses, or offers courage for the living – that art work is received by us, as a gift is received. Even if we have paid a fee at the door, when we are touched by a work of art something comes to us which has nothing to do with the price"
